What’s wrong with the leaves on my Philodendron Selloum?

I bought my Philodendron Selloum about 6 months ago and it was doing so well in my sun room!! Now, all of a sudden, there are these very dark green spots on the leaves. I don’t see any bugs. What’s happening to my plant?

Hi Mary,

The very dark green spots on the leaves of your Philodendron Selloum are probably being caused by low temperatures in your sun room.. They do not like cold winter temperatures and always like to be warm and cozy. Be sure to keep the temperature in the room, day and night, above 55 degrees and never place a Philodendron Selloum near an air conditioner in the summer, or a door in the winter.
