Hi Susan,

Corkscrew Vine Plant

The plant is called a Corkscrew Vine Plant (Vigna Caracalla), also sometimes called a Snail Vine. It is a fast growing perennial vine when planted outside, capable of growing up to 25 feet in just a few years. A Corkscrew Vine likes full sun, warm temperatures, damp soil, and high humidity. It will do okay in a pot, but you should move it outside as soon as the weather is warm and inside as soon as the weather starts to get cold. Corkscrew Vine Plants are easily propagated using stem cuttings in the early spring.
