What is my plant called-Lady’s Purse Plant-Pocketbook Plant
I have been given this plant which I think is awesome, I would like to know what it is called please.

This unusual looking flowering plant gets it name from the vividly colored flowers that look like slippers or little pouch-like pocketbooks. If you keep your Pocketbook plant in a cool area with the soil barely moist, it will bloom for a few weeks indoors. This is an annual plant that blooms in the spring and will not re-bloom indoors. Most people just throw the plant out after the flowers have died.
