What is the Best Way to Clean Plant Leaves

I have PEPEROMIA PLANT and often the leaves are dusty. What is the best method to wipe clean these leaves?

Thank you!
Shannon

Hi Shannon,

The least expensive way to clean plant leaves is to spray them with a solution of warm water and a few tablespoons of a liquid biodegradable soap like ivory. Gently wipe the leaves after spraying if possible. You should never use milk or mayonnaise to clean plant leaves, that only attracts harmful pests and diseases.

You can also purchase commercial plant leaf cleaners. You can read about these in the Glossary of the website.

The nice things about these commercial sprays is that they shine the leaves and you don’t need to wipe it off.
