Looks like Jade houseplant but isn’t..

I bought this plant for my friend, and the shop called it “mini dollar”. Searched the net for clues as to what it may be but still remain clueless. It looks like a Jade plant but it isn’t a succulent. The leaves will turn brown if not watered. Thanks for your help in advance!
