Identify Indoor Plants Without Tags

I bought these two beautiful plants but they didn’t have any identifying tags. I need to know what they are so I can care for them properly. Thank you.

Hi,

Your first plant is a Stromanthe sanguinea  (sometimes referred to as Stromanthe Tricolor or Triostar Stromanthe). Since a Stromanthe plant is a relative of the Prayer plant and a member of the Maranta family, its leaves fold up at night as though praying. These plants produce reddish pink flowers in the spring, but the leaves can’t compete with this plants dazzling leaves. A Stromanthe is a spectacular looking plant, but a bit challenging to grow. You can read all my tips on how to grow and care for a Stromanthe plant in the Popular Houseplant section of the website.

The second plant has a few names. It is a type of peperomia and some refer to it as a Peperomia-caperata-Rosso; while others call it a Peperomia  “Himalaya.” The care for this particular peperomia variety is the same as that for the Peperomia Caperata “Emerald ripple” pictured in the Popular Houseplant section of the website.
