House Plants, Please Identify

Hey there! I have a few houseplants, I can’t figure out what kind they are to properly take care of them.
Thanks for the help!

Hi Alexa,

This is an indoor Bird of Paradise (Strelitzia.) A Bird of Paradise Plant is a slow growing plant with large paddle- shaped leaves that resemble those of a Banana Plant. Even indoors, a Bird of Paradise Plant can easily reach a height of 6ft.-7ft. These plants are considered poisonous and should be kept away from pets and children. Read more about common houseplants that are poisonous in Don’t Feed Me To Your Cat! A Guide to Poisonous Houseplants. You can read all of my care tips for a Bird of Paradise in the Popular Houseplant section of the website.

This is a green jade pothos plant. Pothos are highly adaptable, glossy-leafed plants with heart-shaped leaves. A Golden Pothos has yellow and green leaves, a Marble Queen Pothos has white and green leaves, and a Jade Pothos has solid green leaves. These plants are considered poisonous also.
