Are Aralia Plants Poisonous?

I just bought these Aralia plants for the office, are they poisonous?

Aralia plants are considered poisonous. Aralia plants are poisonous with a level #2 toxicity. All parts contain saponins which cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. They are only dangerous if someone eats the leaves and so should be kept away from small children and pets. You can read my care tips for an Aralia plant in the Popular Houseplant section of the website.
