Plant ID-Identify my Houseplant

Hello Judy! I need some help in identifying this plant I have had for years! Once I can do that, maybe I can figure out how to best take care of it! Thank you!

Hi Emily,

The plant looks like a pothos plant. I know it will be really hard but the only way to make the plant look good again is to cut that bare stem off about 2″ above the soil line. When was the last time you changed the soil or fed the plant? What color are the leaves that fall off? Are there drip holes in the bottom of you pot? You can read all of my care tips for a pothos in the Popular Houseplant section of the website.

Here’s a picture of a golden pothos, so the leaves have a bit of yellow in them, yours is a Jade Pothos. The care is the same for both varieties.
