Philodendron Xanadu has Pale Leaves With Brown Edges

I have had this plant for about a year. Last winter (in the house, the leaves became pale and almost speckily looking. In spring I put it outside on the north side of my house and it grew nicely and became shiny green as it is suppose to look. Now it is Dec and the plant has been back in the house for a couple of months and is looking pale and some of the leaves are getting brown on the edges. help!

Brown tips on a Xanadu usually means it is getting too much plant food or there is too much salt and other chemicals in the water you are using. Never use water that has passed through a softener for your Xanadu. The pale speckled leaves usually indicate the temperature is too cold or the plant is sitting in a draft. What is the temperature in the room where you are keeping the Xanadu?
