My plant is as tall as my ceiling how do I trim it down? And the leaves are turning yellow and brown. And also it won’t stand up straight so I had to tape it up get it off the walls…please help.
I would suggest that you prune the top 1/3 of the plant by cutting through the main trunk of the plant. Wherever you cut along that trunk, two or three new “heads” of leaves will start to develop. The plant will no longer fall over and it will it will become a little wider. You can even plant the section you cut off and start a new dracaena. The leaves are turning that muddy brown color because it needs more water. It’s a beautiful plant!
