I bought a Calathea at the nursery and within a couple of weeks the leaves were all curling and the plant looks terrible. Too much water? Shock from relocating?
Calatheas have very specific needs and are difficult to grow. They need high humidity and temperature between 65-80 degrees. Watering properly is a whole other issue. Too much or too little water, chemicals in the water, or sitting in water all cause problems. There are complete care instructions for a Calathea in the Popular HousePlant Section of the website.
